SLI only with full towers?

I would assume having a mid tower would be difficult to run sli with, or do I assume wrong. I am going to be building my computer sometime next month and I getting everything so if I want to switch to sli I can down the road.

I have a mid tower, and ran SLI without any problems. it would depend on wich motherboard you have I gues tough. (but most/all good recent SLI boards have a good layout for that)

I shoved two Ultras in the Antec 900, so I think SLi is possible with most mid-towers.

Most people run into problems with the length of the cards when using SLI in mid-towers.
The top card could interfere with the 5.25 bays.

That's true. I did have to rearrange my hard drives so that the cards would fit.

I have two 8800gtx's watercooling and a 1000w power supply

There are even mATX cases that can do SLI these days. Most new Mid-size cases (ATX/mATX/etc) will most likely do them, but to make sure look it up in a review or google or something.

Seeing I am going to put 2 cards in SLI on an ATX mobo in an Antec 300 I think you can safely say most cases will fit it :)
