Could someone enlighten me here about these cards...

I'm not sure. It might be the fact that it would be more unstable at higher temperatures? I'm not sure, but everything else seems the same to me.

The two products might have been priced at different times or something. I see no reason not to go for the OCed cheaper priced card.

hmm, there's very little overclocking, i think the temps wouldn't be that much higher. You would need to push the card harder to have stability issues.

Wouldn't be very smart for a company to overclock cards to the point they are unstable and they would have to knock of price. Might as well leave it stock!

True. But for the OC part, you can install the nTune program provided by Nvidia on their site to manually OC the card yourself, so I don't see why to bother choosing one another except for the price difference.

I would probably say the card would run slightly hotter than the non-OC'd card. Not much of a difference but if you live in a really hot city during summer time, be sure to have a real good cooling system.
