Hello,

I am attempting to install Windows Server 2008 onto a computer I converted for server use. However, when attempting to install it complains about no device drivers were found and prompts me to locate them. I put in the disk that contains the drivers for the motherboard, etc. and it says that no device drivers were found at all. Please help!

Thanks,

Tom

the cd does not contain any drivers for your harddrive.
you will need to find the driver for your it.My laptop did the same. there are machines such as dells also that prompts for this and you have to download Intel Matrix Storage driver from their site and embed it on the cd or a floppy drive (usb won't work)

no thats not the one
You might want to post the model of your pc (if dell or Hp or whatsoever)

I managed to fix it. Apparently the installation has issues with old drives so I just smacked a new DVD drive in and it worked perfectly.
