Budget Card

Hello, the computer in my specs actually has such bad video, it can only run standard desktop features in ubuntu ! So, I am now looking for a budget a.k.a. under $50 agp 8x or 4x video card that can run Wow, Compiz Fusion, Full Ubuntu Desktop graphics, the Hitman games, ChessMaster GrandMaster Edition, and maybe MS Flight Simulator. Has to be at least 128mb of video memory and at least directx 9. thanks for any suggestions!

I have that card. It's OK. Now for gaming. I ran it on a 300W PSU. Cannot max out BF2, so I wouldn't do heavy gaming on it. I'd go with the X1650 listed above your post. Much better card.

I have that card. It's OK. Now for gaming. I ran it on a 300W PSU. Cannot max out BF2, so I wouldn't do heavy gaming on it. I'd go with the X1650 listed above your post. Much better card.
