USB memory sticks

I went to my local electric shop and there were so many different kinds, different amounts of memory and also other things ? What is the best type to get?

Want one for photos, maybe the odd downloaded TV programme etc.. Resume etc..
 
I think 1GB or 2GB would be enough for what you're looking to store on it. I would get them online instead of a retail store. They're significantly cheaper online.
 
Go to Tigerdirect.com or newegg.com! You can generally get a 2gb for about $10 and a 4gb for under $20 on Tiger.
 
Since you are going to be using it for some photos and videos, I would recommend at least a 2GB, but shouldn't really need more than 4GB.
 
i like the 4gb i just bought from buy.com and with that 10 dollar off google check out thing i only had to pay 8.95 total and free shipping. right now i have my ubuntu hardy install on it
 
I recommend a sandisk Cruzer U3, 2GB-4GB-8GB or 16GB Micro.

I just got 1, there great.. I love the u3 on it. Being able to have email on the go is very handy. So are many of the other progs for it.
