Keyboard and Mouse Not working!

I scanned my computer for viruses with an Anti-Spyware program and it came up with a lot of infections, mostly adware. So instead of paying to remove them i manually went into the registry and deleted them myself since the program showed the folders they were in. But now that ive done that the keyboard and the mouse dont work. They plug into a USB port. The keyboard and mouse work when i ran diagnostics to them but dont work when i get to the login screen. Is it possible that i couldve deleted a driver possibly or something.

Where can i get the drivers for them. I cant find my back-up discs or anything. Is there somewhere i can download it from and put it onto a disc so i can put it on the messed up computer.

Google Search - "*name of computer brand & model* drivers"

Ok, so i downloaded the driver onto a disc from my laptop and burned it onto a disc. I also went onto the bios screen and changed the boot sequence to the cd-rom as the first priority. But the same thing happens even though the disc is in the cd-rom. How do i install it?

When i turn on the computer i press F12 for the "boot device menu". So when i press enter for the "Onboard or USB CD-ROM Drive", it says "Selected boot device not available- strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility"....

Ok, so im getting somewhere i think...I burned the driver again on a disc as a bootable disc. So now that i turn the computer on it boots from the CD-ROM...So when it boots it says "Caldera DR-DOS", then it gives me a few options to type after a "A:\>"..But i cant type...The keyboard is on abd plugged in (USB)...So how do i install it now...Please help...

The driver doesn't need to be a bootable disc just ruin the exe file in windows.

If not go into the BIOS and make sure PS2 + USB are enabled.
