Differences between X38 and X48??

From what I understand the only difference is the guaranty to have a 1600fsb.

Dont they have updated bios for the newer 45nm chips as well as more options and settings.

As far as i know the X38 is naturally compatible with 45nm technology, so I assume the more recent X48 would be too.
