2GB Ram
nVidia Geforce 6150SE 256MB Shared... umm what else.

Anyway, that should be enough info.

I'd give it another gig of ram and you'd be set, but otherwise yes, you can run Vista 64-bit.

the extra ran isnt realy needed as it will work fine with 2Gb but it will help with the extra gig :)

I run vista 64 and i can say that i am using 1.30gb of ram typing this so yeh more ram.

wow thats alot, when i had Vista ultimate x64 running here it would use around 880mb on idle, what you got running in background? :D

it's ok so...
But why vista?
It will take time for this OS to work normal...
and for x64 it is difficult to find progams...

A lot of people have Vista x64. There's a service pack out. If there are problems, I'll have to deal with it. I've ordered it now, so there's no going back. And I'd like to try out something else. Getting bored of XP.

SP1 for Vista has come out and there have been no problems (from what i know) and 64 bit is recommend to anyone.

Only when you load vista, make sure you have no more than 2gb of memory. After Vista is loaded, you can put the rest of the memory in. I had friend's that told me they had trouble loading it with more than 2gb of ram.
