Reinstalling XP

I finally got around to reinstalling xp on my dual-boot system, and I ran into a few problems.

Ok, so I copyied all the files and documents I want to keep to my flash drive, and i gathered all my game install discs and program install discs to reinstall them. Here are my issues:

1. I don't know my XP product key. In one of my last threads, I was advised to use a magical jellybean program to find it out. The issue is that the pc i'm trying to reinstall xp on isn't connected to the internet.(still need to buy wireless network adapter.) Can I put the program on my flash drive from this computer and use it on the other PC?

2. If i get that done, do I have to format the drive with xp on it then do a clean install? or do i just pop in the disk? if i have to format it, do i have to format it in a specific way.(like into NTFS or FAT32 etc..)

3. Is it possible to do all the above things without disturbing my Ubuntu drive? The 2 Os's are on seperate drives.

Thanks for any help. I can provide more info if needed, just didn't want to lengthen this post more than it has to be.

when u install xp, it lets u format the partiyion youre installing on
just 'select format using ntfs file system (quick)'
for the key, i advise you to use a crack or a keygen if u cant find othr solution

DO NOT DO THAT!! use magical jelly bean its great... You can out this on a flash drive and run it from there.. it will show you the current key. if that doesnt work you will have to contact microsoft to a new key...

Yes, use the Jellybean on the flash drive. I used jellybean before and it takes a matter of seconds to get the key and install. Good Luck.
