Anti-Glare vs Glossy

I never owned a Glossy monitor, and I am pretty sure I ordered a glossy monitor like an ahole.

What does everyone think of a glossy monitor vs an anti glare monitor?

My monitor now is anti-glare and I love it. My ex had a glossy and I didn't like it very much, as it was almost like looking through a window. Now given, it was a laptop and not nearly the quality of the monitor I ordered, but i'm nervous as hell.

But I want to run dual monitors, glossy and an anti glare (unfortunate I think) and i'm nervous as to how it's gonna look/perform.

I personally think the glossy are nice looking. I have seen two of Dell's glossy 22" screens and like them. Only downside is glare and fingerprints.

But since I don't use them much, I can't really say.

I love glossy, but always get Matte screens due to 1 reason, and that is reflections. I cannot use a monitor with glare.

I can't stand a monitor with a glossy trim, i couldn't imaging the a glossy screen.

I hear so many complaints about them, with TV's, i have seen a ton of people return them because of glare. They look "awesome" in the store, until you get home and start using it.

I have an anti-glare and it's pretty much the best since the glossy screens may reflect too much light for you to not be able to see. For example, I have a window on the opposite side of where my computer desk so if I had a glossy screen, all the light from the window would reflect on my face via de glossy screen! ;)

In the dark a glossy screen looks really good:D. But a overhead light/lamp/TV or window behind you will drive you crazy. During the day everything reflects in them.

Well there is nothing directly behind the monitor. Off to the sides... but nothing creating light directly behind it.

Think it'll look dumb with the gloss 24" and an anti-glare 20.1"?

If you sit just the right way you'll be able to comb your hair in it. Its just me, I dont like glossy screens. Tried a couple of computer ones and could never get used to them. Had a big screen TV and thought I would loose my mind till I got rid of it. But then again one of my best friends loves them.
