Which OS is better?

read on, as for windows, just google or check in Operating system

sorry to ask this, but why the 1st reply? Is asking this question just something that should not be asked.

well i use windows xp media center sp3, and it runs nicely,(hate vista) i use my computer for internet and games. I want to run Ubuntu but i dont know anything about programming so playing games wont be out the window. As for mac os, some things are cool but again i cant play my games with mac os.

no it's ok but i will tell you why.
Once you start a thread called "what is better ? mac / windows / linux ? "

it won't turn out the way you want, see the problem is that many of us bash threads like these. THERE IS NO OS WHICH IS BETTER, they all get the job done but in a different manner. :cool:
Anybody who hates mac will go "hey mac sucks", or vice versa with a different OS. it's just better you do a search and try downloading some linux distros and try them out, you can ask help here if you bump or ask on their specific forums

And for a demo of the mac try osx 86 it wont be good as a real mac but think of it as a demo and of course since people make billions of hardware check the wiki of osx86 if your hardware will work but may i say once you go mac you never go back

lol, i know there has been some issues in the thread, but i think that was a tad unneccessary. there is no need to threaten (ok, warn) somebody about making a post in "your" thread.

I warned them. Almost every OS thread is, LOL mac is teh gay! How mature is that, and what does that accomplish?

yeah, i know ppl were being childish in your thread, which is dumb. you definitely did a great job explaining the topic as well. i just thought it was kind of an unfriendly way of addressing the OP's question when he had not said anything childish or immature, thats all. or did he post something bad in a different thread?
 
I don't like the Mac OS whatsoever.

Thats why if I'm ever getting a mac, I will immediately install bootcamp and windows.
