Ok. after this thread, my last thread will be on the next page, so here i go:
Ok, last-night when my pc was in xp, it went into sleep-mode, as usual. about 30min. later, it restarted. Then, it said there was no keyboard, press f1 to continue. the keyboard had power, as the numlock key light was on. so i pressed f1, and it regidtered the key-press. so the, i was able to use the arrow-keys(even though to the pc, there was no keyboard)to select xp from the GRUB bottloader. it went into xp, and at the select-user screen, the mouse wouldn't move, but it still had power, it is a laser mouse, and the laser-light is on.SO, know i can't use xp, and my comp. is randomly restarting AGAIN. I think it may be a mouse/keyboard driver-problem or a psu issue. also, after it restarted, the HDD was making some weird noises, but than it stopped, and went back to normal. I havn't tried booting into ubuntu, but i doubt that it will work, so i really need some help. Any suggestions are appreciated.
