I would say no, you can find better for the price. And judging from the reviews, it's of poor quality to most.

better at same price Before or After rebate?!?! The only reason I don't get a better $30 PSU is because I wanted a $15 500watt PSU with 22A on the +12! But the only reason I need a new PSU is b/c my current one isn't enough to power another fan and a video card.

Manufacturers can put pretty much any ratings they want on the PSU sticker, even when there's no possibility of their product actually meeting them. At the low-end, this behavior is prevalent. I would not suggest relying on these ratings, unless you know that the company in question always rates their products realistically.

Don't expect it to power a high powered video card, though, if you're after something like an 8800 series you'll need to spend more money on a PSU one way or another.

I trust Raidmax power supplies an amount that is inversely proportional to the distance that I can throw them (when compared to other, quality PSUs of course).

Its not the best brand, but I,ve used about 10 of these in lower - lower end computers and never had a problem with any of them. No DOA or burn outs. But it depends alot on the video card your going to use.

Before the rebate, as by the time it comes it will be 16-32 weeks later, and you won't remember. It doesn't matter anymore though, the rebate has ended.

well, does anyone know of a good and cheap psu? all it has to be is over 300watts, preferably over 350, but that's an ok wattage as well, but it's only 50more watts than my current psu.
