Hide folder

I want to know how i can hide folders in xp.

Properties
Tick Hidden
= Done!

even better, right-click on desktop, new, folder. when typing in the name, hold down ALT and press 0 then 1 then 6 then 0 on the number pad. then do what they said for the icon.

No that's visible when you turn Show hidden files and folders.
When you really want to hide a folder, do what aSsc1 said but click Properties, Advanced, Change Icon and if you're using Windows XP you'll be able to change it to nothing ( invisible ).
Then, to prevent it from being accidentaly highlighted, put in your...received files That should like totally hide it.

That's right.

In explorer go tools > folder properties > show hidden files + folders = Make sure it is ticked.
