How about it, what games support 2 monitors. I'm not talking about spanning across a FPS across 2 monitors where your crosshair is stuck in the middle. I mean do any games really utilize both monitors. I read somewhere World in Conflict can use both, but I haven't tried it.

I'm not talking about spanning or stretching across multiple monitors with triple or dualhead, I mean utilizing more than one monitor to display different information. Like a map or other info in a FPS, etc.

I guess I figured there were enough people with more than one monitor that game developers would include a second monitor. I was thinking like a map in a fps game. Blah Blah blah don't take your eyes off the screen, but I've died several times trying to decipher a tiny map in the corner or holding down tab that a quick glance at a full sized map on a second monitor would fix.

RTS games covering two monitors would seem to be a good idea, but I gues you could just span for the same effect.

As far as i know there are no games that support dual screen.

Well there is TripleHead2Go from Armed Assault.

A lot of simulators support using multiple monitors and a lot of games work with two or three monitors if you get a Matrox DualHead2Go or TripleHead2Go.

Star Trek Armada 2 supported dual screen iirc. you had the game screen on 1 monitor, and a movie-ish view of fighting scenes on the other one.

Alot of games support multiple monitor's!! Such as Crysis. With the TH2GO you can play just about any game on 2 to 3 monitors!!

But hes not asking for games that span.
Im sort of curious too.
He means which games are naturally made to use two monitors. Like have the game on one monitor and other info on the other. It makes sense to me but its kinda hard to explain.

Supreme Commander supports the use of two monitors, I think the secondary shows the map of the level.

You got it.

World in conflict can use both, I believe it's a map on a second monitor. I'm going to try it out later this week.

thanks
