I really don't know which one to pick.
Almost everything about the HD 3850 is better.
The stream processor, Memory size/interface, clocks, and more are higher in the numbers, but does it actually perform better?

Give me your thoughts, thanks.

I only need a video card to run low/med for race driver: grid, I really don't need an expensive card above 130 bucks.

Everytime someone asks for a video card suggestion, he always says 9600gt, 9600gt..

Just because you have it and like it doesnt mean its best for everyone:rolleyes:

No. Because he is on a FREAKING BUDGET... a 8800GT is a little more than the 9600GT and like he's said in his previous post, he does NOT WANT TO pay for a video card for more than $130. I would recommend him to get a 8800GTS for all I'd care but he can't afford it.

then get the 8800gt 256MB version, off of newegg. even comes with COD4 or COH!

Problem is thats I think a little over $130. I would suggest the 3850 I havent looked at prices lately though but don't go with the since slot one, they seem to have cooling issues (and if I remember right that is the cheapest one). The dual slot cooling one I think is close to $130 and would be your best choice. And if you can't swing that I would suggest the 8800GS Superclocked, it did have a nice rebate on it.
