just look for yourself on a few sites. newegg has very good debranded/other computers, and alot of cheap acer/hp comuters. acer has been nothing but good for me, and i'm typing this on an hp pavilion 510w (fyi 1.1ghz celly) and it's ran no issues since 2000. you wont need much, most processors will handle your gaming load and such, i'd invest in a cheap video card if you want nicer gaming graphics.

Avadirect.com is another company to look into. I've compared their pricing to both Cyberpower and Ibuypower and they are very close on price-plus their shipping looks really reasonable too.

Well, it is somewhat true that the better, "mainstream" and "high-end" computers preassembled are just as good as one built from scratch, but some of them still have corners cut where it's less noticeable (like the CPU cooler, the motherboard and the PSU). Since no specs or name brands are provided in the ads for these things, mfrs decide, well, we can cut corners here and no one will notice. That can be bad, especially if you're expecting a good solid system with maybe a good solid active PFC PSU for example and they give you the same PSU that would be found in their mid-budget models.
