If you download a program called teamviewer, I can log in remotely and look at your system.

http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx

Click on the green box that says download, free for private use. Then install the program. I would need the ID number and password that it assigns you when you open the program. The ID number stays the same but the password changes every time you open and close it. I will have you email me if you want to go that route so no one else will be able to connect to you. Let me know.

I replied back to your email. The computer should have rebooted and a log popped up. Copy and paste the log into your next reply.

Please just post the logs here. Do junkware removal tool next. Only email me if you need me to log in remotely. Thanks.

They were the ask and yahoo software.

When done running the 2 programs also do the following.

download and run the following program.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/tfc/dl/92/


Download TFC from the download link above and save the file on your desktop.
Close ALL running applications as TFC will terminate them before attempting to clean up the temporary files.
Double-click on the TFC icon.
When the program starts, click on the Start button. TFC will terminate the Explorer process and all running applications and then begin the process of cleaning out all of your temp folders.
When done, press OK to reboot your computer and finish the cleanup.

It may not reboot.

Not really a virus but browser addons that may cause issues in web surfing. This is what we call basic malware/adware.

hey, man I am concerned of what damage you have told me to do to make my computer run better. I tried to be nice about it, but I wasn't having problems till you told me to download a virus/malware whatever it is. my computer is laggy and it said I was signed in as a administrator and thsat JTE.exe isn't no good. So you need to not help or hack me no longer or I will tell my local authorities. thank you for your whatever you call help.

You mean JRT.exe? That is junkware removal tool. You need to run it as administrator. I didn't hack you. Junkware removal tool and adwcleaner are used at all the malware removal websites. Why don't you do some research on it.

You're nuts. John isn't hacking you. He's trying to help you. I would be giving the same advice he is if it was me helping you instead of him.

Look through the other threads in this section. He's given the same advice to many others without issue.

Man if I were you I would just connect remotely to his PC using TeamViewer and do all the job for him.Life would be easier that way if you ask me. ;)

Just because you do not understand and do not know how to perform what johnb35 said does not automatically mean he is hacking you.You should educate yourself about computers a little bit before immediately jumping to conclusions and thinking about reporting someone to authorities who is actually trying to help you...
