512 ram? i dunno... that doesnt seem like enough. bf2 utilizes over a gb of ram at times

i used to play it with 512 mb and it played fine in medium settings on my computer.

I would sure hope so. :p

Anyways, it's possible that you may not have enough RAM. Yes, people have been able to play on 512 but, imo, that does not guarantee playability. Do you have all of the latest drivers for your hardware? What OS are you running? Is that completely updated? Tell us more details about your system.

you probably don't have the right video card. What's your video card? Mine is ATI 9800 pro and it runs fine after I install it. :D I have no trouble installing it. Did you update your video card: If its is nividia go to www.nvidia.com or ATI version go to www.ati.com to upgrade your video card. :)

6600gt, decent card. 512 ram, not enough.
512 Ram is fine. Obnviously it ownt run on high, but ive been playiong it on medium at 1024x768 for the past couple days. Obviously when i upgrade to 1GB/2GB it'll run better, but it does run fine.
