Get this hard drive instead. It uses perpendicular recording instead, which offers slightly improved access/read times, and is $5 cheaper.

Buy this monitor instead, it has a lower response time, much higher contrast ratio, and is cheaper.

Dont waste your money on that RAM, pick up a set of G.SKILL DDR2-800 for $80 cheaper, which can also be overclocked fairly well.

And get Vista Home Premium 64-Bit, not 32.

Also, why are you getting this? It's practically identical to your current setup already! Just get another gig of RAM, an 8800GTS, and a better power supply!

get the 500gb , if oyou have SATA in it . PS check the reviews on the 320gb one on ebay.. some say it failed within weeks. keep that in mind and take alook at the warranty. do as omega says and try those, overall, nice!

You can find 20x SATA DVD Burners for around $35.

You never really answered my question though. Why are you buying another rig with basically the same motherboard, processor, and other components? All thats really changing is the RAM and video card. Just upgrade a few parts...

Your last thread was "Did I make a mistake?" Getting a gaming laptop wasnt that big of a mistake, but buying two desktop or buying that desktop to replace your current one is.

Id have to upgrade the...
gpu, case, ram
Cause what would I do with my current 7900gs? Sell it? Wouldnt get much...
What about the ram and case? Wouldnt get much...

I need to find an 8800 water cooling thing.
And I might be changing my case to the thermaltake armor full tower.

You need to choose a plan and stick with it. Your 7900GS can be bought for what....160 dollars new right now? So..you ought to be able to sell it easily on here for 115-120. Ram...a gig of DDR2 would fetch you a bit of money, probably 40 bucks. That's enough to offset some of your costs. Buy some new ram that can overclock? That's 125-135. 8800GTS prices? Pick your brand, you're gonna pay the same for most. So, say it costs you 280 dollars for an 8800, and 125 for mild-overclocking DDR2, that's ~405 dollars. 405 - the 160 you could probably get out of your current equipment is 245.

A good thing to learn would be to change yoru system only sparingly. You lose alot of money (as you see) buying all the time. If you only upgrade periodically, you'll save money.

I dont want to get a budget psu...
I have to rely on it to power the 8800.

Can someone show me the OS i need.
Omega said something about like 32 bit or something...

Thanks

Anything else I should change? Or is that current list fast?

I dont think I said anything about a 32-Bit OS... I would recommend going with Windows Vista Ultimate x64 if you need to buy an OS, I would not go the 32-bit route, since it will be phased out very quickly.

How is this?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116204

Ill edit it in the list soon.

And Ill edit in fans and burners and whatever else I may be missing.

Purchasing Soon...
Thats pretty good, but for only $80 more you can get Vista Ultimate, which is worth it since it can support up to 128GB of RAM, while Home Premium can only support around 16GB I believe.

Wow...

I personally have no desire what so ever to sell my not in use parts...

What is wrong with what I want to do....?
