Have to agree with that one. Choose an easy test if you must, but at the very minimum complete a 3 minute test. Typing for 1 minute straight isn't all too uncommon for most people. :good: :)

Wouldn't count on it. Why not keep a Windows install on a separate partition so you can switch back and forth when needed? That would get rid of any compatibility issues Win programs have running in Wine or VBox. :) EDIT: Since the subject of Office came up, why not try the free WPS Office...

Why do service providers place such severe bandwidth restrictions on upload speeds for consumer packages? Business class on the other hand is an entirely different matter. I pay for up to 15MB/s and rarely get that. They must like me today because they got paid. :)

I've read many reviews on the nVidia Quadro card that came with those systems and Intel admitted that they were all destined to keel-over. Anybody that I have ever spoken to about the Latitude-D series said that the Intel chipset sucks but it is still better than the Quadro. They could be wrong...
