Yeah when I was running the stock cooler on my 2600k the temps were unacceptable under load. When idle they weren't bad, mid to high 30's at stock speeds. When I ran Prime95, though, I experienced temps in the low 90's before I stopped the program. Went out and bought a Zalman 9900 Max and now...

If you haven't played the first one I would highly recommend doing so since there are references to it in the second game, although the second one is a new story and not really a full continuation. They are based on novels, though.

They may be beginning to discontinue a lot of the specialized models of Radeon 6xxx series cards because the 7xxx series is right on the horizon.
