    7900GTO vs x1900xt/x

Why would I? Read up before posting. If a 3.4GHz chip can't reach even 40 FPS how do you think that 800MHz chip would perform? GPU power don't do much for this game, while even rather high end CPU's easily chokes. In this test a 6800 Ultra is used.

    Video Card

The GT, but whats your budget? Stretch it a little if possible and grab the superior X1900.

    7900GTO vs x1900xt/x

The GPU don't matter much, Sims 2 needs CPU power, and lots of it too! So it's not very GPU demanding.

    AMD X2 or Intel D?

The X2 is the better option of the two. But if you can then try and grab a C2D 6300, they're far superior to both that X2 and the PD, and they are affordable as well. :)

    Folding@Home: CF Official Discussion Thread

I thought I'd ask you guys, does the electronic microscope have any other function at all other than monitoring progress? If not I think I'll ditch it. I rarely check it anyway and I don't think I've lost a single WU so far. Both my cores been under full load 24/7 a few weeks now. A C2D closing...

    Dualview on the 91.47's

thanks people The secondary is quite new but a budget monitor non the less, I'll play around with them later on today/night when I get home from my meeting. It's sweet though with dual 19 inchers, so much space to work with.

    Dualview on the 91.47's

Anyone been experiencing issues with this? My secondary display tend to flicker a little bit. Nothing I cant live with as it's barely noticeable, but as the perfectionist I tend to be at times it kind of bugs me. I'm running this setup on my old 6800GT, I have lowered the card to default clocks...
