Internal HDD disconnecting and reconnecting while downloading a steam game.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that Snappy Driver installer is one of the good ones. I used it when I worked repair and it was just a data repository and allowed for offline all in one driver installs, didn't push viruses or unnecessary products. Haven't used it in a few years but generally...

    asus vivobook n580gd

Are you saying you have a noticeable drop in performance after you repasted the processor? If so you did it wrong and need to be redone or fixed. Hardware wise you can't upgrade anything except maybe RAM and storage (SSD).

HP "gaming" desktop won't boot (Windows 10)

Wrong credentials do not break a Windows installation. I'd guess you're not getting the full story. If the startup repair when booted off the flash drive doesn't help, probably time for a new install. Games are easy to redownload and most save files are backed up to the cloud anymore anyway...

    AMD GPU Drivers

There was some truth to that sentiment about a decade ago but it's pretty much a thing of the past. Nvidia and AMD both will have good and bad drivers. Get the best card for the money and workload.

    WIndows 10 internet

If you're getting good wired speeds, then the ISP is just guessing and likely wrong. I've never found ISPs to have good troubleshooting skills and tend to just blame random components.

    WIndows 10 internet

If you're getting you're getting advertised speeds out of the router with a cable, then you're getting full speeds from your ISP. Sounds like you just have WiFi congestion and speeds depend heavily on signal strength, overall network usage, and physical distance from the router. As @beers...

WIndows 10 I'm having storage issues

Yes, as soon as you tell Steam to install a game it places reservations on the drive for the full game size, even if it's not downloaded yet. So Windows and any other program will report that space as used as soon as the download is triggered, even if the data isn't actually on there yet...

will an Intel Core i3-1005G1 processing unit last for 10 years?

I hesitate to use that terminology considering that processor is still plenty fast for the vast majority of basic work and probably would be for several years. Just not what I would buy if going for longevity over 5+ years.

    Google Flights not working correctly

Probably a software bug. Reach out to Google support if you feel inclined.

will an Intel Core i3-1005G1 processing unit last for 10 years?

Just kind of a sliding scale of cost versus longevity, but at minimum I'd want something with 4 physical cores and preferably multi threading so 8 threads total. Despite the low base clock on that specific chip, pretty much any chip will have decent boost clocks and that's what you should pay...

will an Intel Core i3-1005G1 processing unit last for 10 years?

That is pretty darn low spec for 2022. I'd get something a bit beefier if you're worried about longevity. That said, computer hardware has plateaued a lot lately, particularly if you're not doing anything intensive. You can get away with 2012 hardware on an SSD running Windows 10 without much...

    Screen Lines

I got to the point I would refuse replacing screens on those when I was in repair. They're so cheap it doesn't make any sense when you can just replace the whole damn thing.

Windows 8 Windows 8.1 Constantly Crashing

I'd quote minimum 150 for a motherboard replacement, but 600 is horrendous. Particularly for 3 weeks of having it and a bad diagnosis anyway. Used to work repair in a shop.

    Screen Lines

Doesn't take much, accidentally shut something in the lid is pretty common. Smack on the back while it's closed. Who knows.

Motherboard won't recognize M.2 NVME correctly. Using PCIe 3.0 instead of PCIe 4.0

Hah I work in technical support so my default is usually get the vendor involved. Something seems weird and given what you've tried, they're likely going to be the ones that know. I did some Googling and couldn't find anything similar. Just a thought, is there any firmware update from WD for...

Motherboard won't recognize M.2 NVME correctly. Using PCIe 3.0 instead of PCIe 4.0

That does seem odd, even the motherboard manual says that option should be Gen 1, 2, 3, or 4, or Auto. https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/Manual/PRIME_TUF_GAMING_B550_Series_BIOS_EM_WEB_EN.pdf Have you tried the other M.2 slot? Realistically, you're probably not going to see much...

Motherboard won't recognize M.2 NVME correctly. Using PCIe 3.0 instead of PCIe 4.0

Update to latest BIOS for the motherboard? https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/TUF-Gaming/TUF-GAMING-B550-PLUS/HelpDesk_BIOS/ Have a picture of what the BIOS shows? Are any of the fields configurable or something you can change?
