i'd say even cheaper than that. The reviews are likely bad, but damn it's fun to play with. I've been told it's like Gears of War, except made for split-screen. And split-screen is where all the fun happens.
Not going to lie, that house looks really fun to live in. That's my favourite style of housing, where everything is everywhere, lots of big toys to play with too.
for ultimate 2-player Xbox, I can't recommend Army of 2 highly enough. I played it through with a mate, and it's honestly one of the most fun split screen games I've played.
I wonder what the difference between the 26-- and 25-- in terms of heat is down to. I managed 4.3 on the stock cooler. Our setups are fairly close, you've got a cool case but a hot GPU, and I've got a hot case but cool GPU... Does HT actually add heat? Weird.
I've got a Mac upstairs with a magic mouse, and it's pretty cool, the swiping fingers around to navigate through web pages. Shame it's a Mac though, not good for much else.
I'd go the Corsair Carbide 500R in white. I really like the look of it, and it seems to be good by the reviews. I would try to avoid getting a massive case if you're putting it on a desk, because it'll be the thing that stands out the most.
I had a ubuntu install running on 10gb, and there wasn't much hassle. It sort of depends with what you want to use it for.
It's really easy to install though. When I did it on a netbook, I didn't even have to make a partition - Ubuntu did it for me.
what about going for a different brand of motherboard? Gigabyte do some really nice P67 boards like the UD4/7 that are very trusted and pretty cheap. I don't think they have the PS2 support that you're after.
agreed. That's why I can get away with a 5770 on a shitty monitor. There's not much point spending money on something that you're not gonna use. Past 35 or 40 frames and you see near no difference.
K series CPU, and maybe a H80 or H100 contain liquid cooler. If you want to stay with air, then there are much better options like Noctua NH-D14 for sheer power, or Coolermaster Hyper 212+.
Good case, GPU and power supply.
