Okay i manage to raise some money to buy a new gaming rig...

here's the priority components i have in mind.

-Intel Core I5-3550
-Asus Z77 Sabertooth
-G.Skill Sniper 8gb 1600 (12800CL9D-SR2)2x4
-Asus GTX680 DCII Top 2gb Ddr5 256bit
-CoolerMaster V8

currently acquired

-Corsair Carbide 400R (no available 500R in our area)
-Corsair TX 750w 80+

so what do you think guys? is it good enough specs or do i need to change something?

any suggestions or wild comments will be very much appreciated.
 
i dont think the v8 is the best for the money. if you want to overclock you must have a 3570k or 2500k. I would get a Gigabyte or ASRock mobo, ASUS has some issues.

Also you can get a 670 for a lot less and barely loose any performance.
 
K series CPU, and maybe a H80 or H100 contain liquid cooler. If you want to stay with air, then there are much better options like Noctua NH-D14 for sheer power, or Coolermaster Hyper 212+.
Good case, GPU and power supply.
 
im here in philippines, thus ordering from other country will cost me even more than the item itself.

anyway i'll try to look if there's any shop in here who sells artic cooler freezer.

Yeah, the Arctic Cooler Freezer's are good :).

crap no luck, there's no Arctic cooler available here.

this are the best cooler available here so far.

-CoolerMaster V8
-Thermaltake Frio OCK
 
Spend less on the motherboard and graphics card and get a better CPU and cooler. Go for an i5 3570K with a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H or UD5H board, then get a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ or Noctua NH-D14 cooler and overclock the 3570K.
