it is running in dual channel allready, and the board supports up to 3gb. So it shouldn't be a problem. If it was a faulty module then one of the 512mb's would show. I'll tinker with the bios now though. thanks for the reply's.

Ok, i have recently installed some new memory into my parents home pc, i installed 2 x Crucial 512mb ddr400 and 2 x Corsair Value Select ddr400, into a Gigabyte GA 7N400 motherboard. On startup it only registers as 1gb and in system it does the same thing. Can anyone help me?

I was looking on overclocker and i saw the new 7300 GS, after looking on the XFX website it doesn't show the speed at which the memory runs. It says it has 512mb of memory, but i think it uses turbo cache. Has anyone seen this and know more details about it? Because its on £50!

if you dont know ow to replace the fan then take it to someone who does know and ask them to change it.

thats definatly lag, i have noticed the difference in ping recetly when playing the battle for middle earth 2 beta. My pc loads the maps so much quicker than a lot of others.

boot up in safe mode, then it only runs the bare programs needed. Then the file will not be running and you can delete it. Hope that helps ;)
