HP 6370b Laptop Shutting off randomly

I need to remove the top cover to unscrew the fan. Than to unscrew the heatsink to access the cpu. But, I removed every screw there is, even the hidden ones, and I still can't remove the top cover. So, I can't put on thermal paste, damn it. Disassembly guides on the internet, for this model...

HP 6370b Laptop Shutting off randomly

It was fine since my last post yesterday. But today it went off again. I'm getting a peak of 67C which is very high. I'm also getting it after booting. But after a few seconds it goes back down to 43C average. Is there a program to control fan speed for the HP Laptop?

HP 6370b Laptop Shutting off randomly

It goes on right away without any problems. As fast as normally and without any error at boot. It runs without the battery in it. I was thinking of doing a Repair Install on it. It has a recovery partition on it. To make sure it's not windows. And ofcourse make a backup of all the important...

HP 6370b Laptop Shutting off randomly

The laptop is about 4 years old. I cleaned it from the inside regularly. The event log shows nothing of importance to this matter. Core temp shows that the 2 cores are between 39 and 45 degrees Celsius.

I still have Eset Nod32 Anti-virus installed. Do you know any stand-alone firewall programs? Or does Avast have that?

    svchost using almost 200MB

I tried disabling the services 1 by 1 and it did not work. Then I did that what you said, which didn't work right away. So, I rebooted the computer and now it's fine. I'm not sure if it was a residu of windows update or the prevention of those applications starting up at boot. The highest any...

    svchost using almost 200MB

Yea, I disabled it, and now it's at 100MB. I'll try disabling the services 1 by 1 again and see what it does. I fixed the game by not forcing it to v-sync and triple buffer. Guess it doesn't work with a java application.

    svchost using almost 200MB

Ok, what I did was disable every services and start it up again. While keeping an eye on task manager. And when I disabled Superfetch, the svchost dropped in memory usage to less than 50mb. Can I leave this Superfetch off? After disabling Superfetch, the game was still lagging.

    svchost using almost 200MB

Minecraft, the game that doesn't need that much resource from the computer. But yet it has an extremely low fps. I tried everything one normally would've done. Update drivers. Clean installation. Clean computer, etc. Nothing worked and I saw the svchost.exe as I checked for unnecessary...

    svchost using almost 200MB

4 gigabytes. 200MB isn't that much of it but I still don't trust it. I'm having issues with a videogame, it's getting very low fps while it should be handling it without any problem I figured it could be this svchost.exe. It uses that amount of memory all the time, but I never bothered with...

    svchost using almost 200MB

It's still between 100 to 200 MB. Would it be safe to disable the services 1 by 1 and quickly look if either is causing the problem?
