also make sure that your drive is not locked i.e there is a switch on the side on some models which locks the files from being viewed etc.

my other computer works fine on youtube with ie7 so i dont know why on my laptop it brings this message up, anyone else have this problem or know how to help?

acer laptops are really good for the price, i have one and it is sweet. as for desktops, hp/compaq are really good

do you mean a usb stick/ pen drive? lol ive never heard of a thumb drive.

its more to do with what quality monitor or tv you have, not the type of disc.

but if it is just for college work you could still get something decent but only spend like $1000 because you wont be needing all the high spec stuff for it.

i just have xp home. i dont see the point in all these other operating systems like linux and osx, you cant do anything with them that is better, lots of programs dont work on them, and xp looks cooler :D

are you sure there is no way to change the channel it is broadcasting on? don't all routers have this option?

yeh im sure that laptop would run WoW on decent settings as WoW doesnt really need that great a system to run it anyway.

well there isnt much you can do about signal strength when you are quite far from the router. you can buy signal boosters though.

are your internet settings set up for a router connection? to do this go to internet options under tools in internet explorer. then click on the connections tab and delete any connections that are in the box, then tick 'never dial a connection'

yeh it must be a virus scan, on you anti virus program go to schedule and change it from there
