nah, its not automatic, basically it just copies whatever is on your C: onto your D: which is pointless having a program to do that really as i could just do it myself. so what do you think of the idea of uninstalling it through regedit?

i just added a 50mb d: to check and it works fine with that on it doesnt come up with the error message. and i rang up acer and the guy said that the best thing to do is to have a d: as well as otherwise the error message will always come up. i asked him if i could uninstall the program and...

yeh i reinstalled all the acer programs and it still does it, i think it is because i unpartitioned the hdd. so what should i do to get rid of it, go into regedit and remove the program from there

i found out that it is the e Recovery program that came with my laptop and that it is bringing this error message up because i re-partitioned the hdd into a single c: and this program by default saves its backups to he d:. anyone know how i can chnge it so it saves it to the c: i hav tried...

hi my wireless internet was workin fine when i got my laptop but now it finds the network at full signlle but when i connect it says acquiring network address, then it says limited or no connectivity. please help me because it was working fine before

when i turn on my new laptop it brings up an error box (in the blue bar it says eRagent) that says an invalid argument was encountered, i dont think its effecting anything buts its annoying, what should i do to stop it? thanks jon

hello, my laptop has the ATI radeon xpress 1100 (i think its 1100) and at the moment it is showing 448mb RAM left. if in the future i wanted to play a game which needs 128mb RAM graphics how can i change the graphics chip to take 128 instead of 64? thanks jon

the best thing to do is just download the anydvd program as you get a 21 day free trial, then when the 21 days is up just re-install it. or just install it whenever you want to watch a differant region dvd than what your dive is set to

the DVD i used was a DVD-R from Tesco :P but still shouldnt i be able to just add files by saying 'copy' then pasting them onto the disc in disc drive?!
