So far as I know there isn't Ram that is compatible with ANY computer.

I think that's just for space I mean they should still work.

Sometimes older pcs had a turbo button to make it faster but I think they were more vulnerable to freezes and crashes. Perhaps it's a similar case with your pc. Maybe the slower option is in case you have older hardware.
