    It depends on the Mobo(DDR3, Max memory per slot, speed{MHZ}), and also the OS has to be 64 bit to utilize more than like 3.75GB...but it should work with that CPU.

    It could have been the RAM not seated all the way, causing a short...Which would then cause the freeze and a BSOD. :D

    Have you tried removing one of the RAM sticks? Do a trial and error test one the RAM and see if this solves anything.

    Hey again guys. I have 2x4GB, G.Skill, DDR3, 1600MHZ RAM...If i put another stick in my system(exact same specs as the other sticks), will I have a lower game/overall performance because its not dualchannel?:confused: Srry i put this in the wrong thread...A Moderator can move it if it needs it.
