Someone has to explain this to me.

A Dual core contains more cache, FSB speeds are faster. IT also counts as clocks per cycle. A P4 HT has a HT module, counting as a core, but actually just increases clocks per cycle, but that is not comparable to a dual core. And, as thealmightyone said, the game coding will be the real thing...

    Intel e6850 3.0 1333 vs. intel Q6600 2.4 1066??

^- Agreed as well. More tasking power from a Quad than Dual.

    Crappy intel Fan

^- Yeah well, we're talking for a suggestion of a better Intel fan. People has special preferences, but as long as ohers don't tell others to get X because I like it, it's good. Anyways, enough with my complicated dilema. Here's a great one for you...

    Strange CPU Temp

Kornowski, I have seen your pics on second page, and I have to tell you: What I usually do is that I apply the paste of an equivalent size to a rice grain, and then put the heatsink on. I don't spread. Usually, what it does, is that upon compression, the paste is squished, but upon turning on...

Is my MoBo's onboard audio better than an audigy?

^- Agreed. Any PCI sound card can produce better sound, unless ou go in the old ISA section. Personally, I have a SB Live! and it's really making the system go crasy. BSODs everywhere. So, I'd just recommend you to get drivers off Creative's site. Great cards, poorly designed drivers.

    asus p4r800-vm drivers

By mouse not working, are you saying that the mouse moves and all, but none of the extra buttons work or is it like literally dead? You need drivers for your ethernet. I've done a bit of work for you: http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock478/p4r800-vm/3C920.zip

Mobo reads fan as 0RPM, but it's running

The sensors doesn't always work on some boards. I have one with a bad CPU fan sensor. It's not much of a big deal though.

Any mATX boards will fit, but if you take a pic of the whole side, it would help a bit more.

    Laptop(dell xps 1210) GPU Upgrade

I believe it may need to be sent back to Del. You see, some boards may not have a slot for them.

Best Mobo i could get for $100-$150

If you save a bit much, the P35C-DS3R or the P5KC is good. The only inconvenient with the P5KC is the IDE port being under the PCI slots. That could make you move your DVD drive to the last 5 1/4 slot.

Best Mobo i could get for $100-$150

And Gigabyte that has D in front is all solid caps. I've bought a P5KC, but now, I'm broke as a piece of glass. I'd recommend you, if you want to save a bit more, the Gigabyte P35C-DS3R. The P5KC is the same, but that, you buy at whichever you find the most promising. Personally, the ASUS sure...

    Bios issues?

Yep, hard drives could do that, but your BIOS issue isn't actually fake. Some motherboards have problems resuming from S3 Suspend. Dells though, shouldn't.

    Hows this MOBO

Nope, both are the same price. Rebates are mail-in rebates. I'd save more cash to get this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128048

Maybe the 3.5 volt is what the board used. It could need resistor, but when I fried an LED, The light was dim and just burned. This one is just orange.

    LED mod trouble

Well, I finally desoldered the red LED and green LED from he dead P4PE and I had a blue LED powered by a 5 volt power connector. My goal was to run the three if them on the 5 volt connector. Now, the LEDs does seem to work, but something is weird. The red LED is like red-orange and the green...
