    Samsung Customer Service Sucks

Yes, I am not going to take things that far. I will try one more time and then thats it. As it stands, I have probably wasted more than the cost of the monitor in trying to get them to fix it. I had a similar situation with microsoft, was so frustrated with their service, it was a brand new...

    Samsung Customer Service Sucks

Well samsung finally got a sub contractor to pick the monitor up some time ago. I emailed the sub contractor after a while asking when it would be ready and they ignored the email. I emailed the person from Samsung who had organised the repair and asked for the email for the customer service...

Same server is fine. Are you sure they share the same mysql database? Does prestashop integrate with phpbb?

    Running a forum questions

Its also a good idea if they are doing any sort of ecommerce transactions through their main business site, to keep them seperate. If the phpbb.com forum software is not regularly updated or gets hacked, it could put other information at risk and not look good for the main business site.

    Running a forum questions

If it is a music store, I would probably not have a forum on the actual site. Reason being, if the forum is inactive, it will make the music store itself look like a flop and could deter customers. Furthermore, people are less likely to join a forum attached to a store, yes I know there are...

Anybody had any recent experience with Dell Customer Service?

No idea why. I think this complaint post on Samsung Australia is accurate http://www.notgoodenough.org/viewtopic.php?t=35748&postdays=0&start=0 Well I dont think it is an australian thing, I have received excellent customer service from both Apple and Panasonic here in Australia.

    American owned computer hardware manufacturers.

If I cant decide on features of two products, I will rather buy and support an american company. That is just personal choice. Just talking American owned, I think America probably manufactures very little, if anything when it comes to mainstream consumer electronics.

Anybody had any recent experience with Dell Customer Service?

no, not sarcasm, sometimes Australian customer service differs from the american customer service. As an example, I sent a tweet to Samsung service america and they replied straight away. Send an email to Samsung Australia and you will be lucky if they reply at all, they will only reply if you...

    24" vs 27" monitor

Anybody with a 27" monitor? I am interested in what you think of it. I have always steered away from big monitors. Don't want something huge and bright so close in front of my face. Held on to a 22" monitor for a long time, and when I got a 23" it was like wow, what an amazing difference an...

    American owned computer hardware manufacturers.

I would like to compile a list of all of the American owned computer companies, either whole computers, components, major software etc. I am not talking retailers, just manufacturers. I have 1. Apple 2. Microsoft 3. Dell 4. HP

Anybody had any recent experience with Dell Customer Service?

thanks for the feedback, especially for australian feedback. I am fedup with Samsung at the moment, will not be buying another one of their monitors. The choice for alternatives is not all that wide. While Dell products are made overseas, I like the idea of supporting an American company.

Anybody had any recent experience with Dell Customer Service?

Speaking to the sale people, seems like some foreign call centre, where the people have very little product knowledge. I was wondering with so many unemployed people, how hard would it be to get people who knew the product. But I can order online no problem. Jeremy Zawodny, from the first link...

Anybody had any recent experience with Dell Customer Service?

Has anybody here had to recently deal with Dell, as in the last two years to get a faulty product fixed? I am considering buying one of their monitors, but dont want to deal with them if they have lousy tech support for a faulty product within warranty. If they are like Samsung, I will give...

    mortal kombat banned!?!?!?!

I have never played the game, so dont know what is meant to be so bad about it. If it as bad as they say, why cant they just put a R rating on it and restrict it to adults purchasing the game? Why ban it completely?

    Samsung Customer Service Sucks

I have had to push them and complain every step of the way, otherwise I get the impression they would do absolutely nothing. I first complained about it in January, its March now, and still cannot get an answer on when I will get my monitor back fixed, it was defective out of the box. Perhaps I...

    Samsung Customer Service Sucks

I would like to add that this problem is with Samsung Australia(NSW). Although I don't have experience with Samsung USA, they seem to be very switched on and customer focused, well at least that is the impression I get, from their social media presence on twitter.

    Samsung Customer Service Sucks

I have a samsung LCD monitor from back when they were first released, and even though I gave it away, it still works perfectly. The samsung TV in my bedroom, once again it is brilliant, and never had a problem before, one of the reasons I always recommended their products to people. Even the...
