    Physx on ATIs?

That worries me. My current system runs Mirror's edge perfectly, but my very soon future build is gonna be a ATI (the 5870, best bang for buck right now). What do you loose when you disable physx? Is physx just a method to offload the gpu a bit, or does it add visual effects?

    New Computer, now monitor

Here's an 23.6" Asus close to $200: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236052 But if you can dish out the cash ($230), this 24" also has 2ms response time, I'd recommend it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236048 (This one is same price but without...

    Single or Two Rail

To clear that up: Each rails has a maximum current it can provide, whether it's single or multiple rails. So a single rail system usually has a large maximum current draw, while multiple rails have a smaller maximum current draw on each rail. You just need to be carefull not to overload a...

Some graphics cards allows you to choose the scale the image or not. See if you can change the settings through your graphics driver.

    LCD screen acting weird

In that case, it must be a loose connection or something else in the monitor's hardware, since that doesn't seem to be a software issue. If you want to fix it you'll have to take it to a shop, or open it up yourself and see if you can spot anything.

    LCD screen acting weird

I'm confused of what you're trying to say. Let's break it down: So your screen is freezng? So if you move your laptop, the screen works again? When what happens? When you move your laptop? So the image on your laptop screen is freezing, but not your system? Not yet So, your saying your...

    Install of 10k raptor drive.

Sound like you need to format the drive. I donno about vista, but in XP you would need to go in "Computer management" (Which is in control panle->Administrative tools) Computer Management has a disk management section which should show ALL your hdds. You can format the drive from there.

    SSD for system disk?

As for the PCIe cards, I'm pretty sure they require drivers, so you will not be able to boot from them yet. But I'm sure future motherboards will start supporting booting from PCIe SSDs.

    What one would you get?

I take what you said from you, and but it back! :P For the same size resolution, different size monitors will have different pixel densities. Think about this, if you slice that 70" HDTV to cut out a size of a 22" and look at up close like you would for a normal monitor, would be looking at...
