PCIe 2.1 help

I noticed the video card i selected

-SAPPHIRE 100297SR Radeon HD 5830 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card Call of Duty ... - Retail

has PCI Express 2.1 and the mobo i selected has PCI e 2.0. Will i need to find either another mobo or vid card?

or will this all work anyway?
 
It will work fine. 2.1 just has some updates that will be on 3.0. Its still the same bandwidth and power as 2.0
 
cool thanks man, thought i had to start over again and pick out something else. I do a lot of research and stuff before i get all my components.
