    is exporer running? not interenet but go ctrl alt del and go to processes and see if explorer is running explorer.exe takes like 17000k of usage thats what shows your icons and other stuff, how did this start?

    could be a good idea, i use to switch back from 98 and xphome, kinda slows down comp.... and why are people skeptical about vista? i must be behind wahts wrong with it?

    oh ya the old MSN, try and find it and unclick sign me in, and if you cant find it go msconfig and turn it off of startup but thatll probly make it so your new msn doesnt start up either on boot up , it hink its acalled like msnmsngr

    woah... what have you been downloading :O, system restore when all fails, when i cant dlete something i just go msnconfig turn everything off reboot my comp and then try casue then theres not applications at all going so nothing could interfer, sometimes you even have to close some processes

    On a powersupply they do come with the cable but you can attach other cables to those cables, they will give you everything you need.

    Heres my background i cahnge it up quite a bit, i switch it up between liek 100 things but this dude looks cool i got a water and ice guy 2. My icons are a big mess and i got like 15 pointless ones, shoudl probably clean it up

    ya i know what you mean, what you could try doing if you still have the windwos xp disc is put it in the drive and boot it up as if your going to reformat and click repair (didnt work for me but never know)

    ya ive had the same problem before i jsut reformatted my computer and it was fine, im not sure why your OS could be screwing up, do you have a back up (everyone should alaways make a image/backup of there computer once they goet it how they want, if something screws up you jsut run it) you...

    well ram should help but i cant see that being the problem, maybe your computer is just jamming up, or too many programs running, you can go run, msconfig and go to startup and unclick all the annoying startups or just get rid of everything, i would also make sure you have no spyware

    Help i bought a laptop for my mum but it doesnt have a floppy drive

    your gonna cause yourself such a hassle trying to switch out a cdrom, to a floppy. if she doesnt want an external one id say return it if you can..... i thought everyone needed a CD rom though, how else are you gonna install software convienently
