Wow won't really need to use too much of your upload. It only really needs position reported from your computer.

It's a bit iffy but it's worth a try I'm fairly certain you can get the files for a dedicated server from ventrilos website.

1. Yes 2. If the computer is off the server is down 3. Not sure what it would take to host a voice server but you certainly wouldn't need top of the line 4. Depends on the Internet connection and computer. I'm not positive but I believe the vent codec is something along the lines of 32kbps...

Ya I didn't play for the longest time because of the price but I learned a way to make a bit of money playing. I buy crap lvl80s for ~$60 play them for a few months gear em up and sell them for ~$150. Certainly not gonna quit my day job but I like it.

When I had a linksys USB adapter I would get those spikes in css and wow. I replaced it with a netgear PCI card and I no longer get the lag in css but I still get it in wow. I think some brands/drivers just work better with vista than others.

Get ram at 1600 instead of 1333. Otherwise you'll be limited in OCing
