Like all said above, get a better PSU and HDD, and yes, I would try to get an updated motherboard, it looks a bit dated. And honestly if you have the money just go ahead and get a 560 or a 560ti, or just go ATI/Radeon and grab a 6850-6870. Anywhere in there. It would be worth the money.

Wouldn't overheating cause an immediate shut down of the computer? Have you tried a fresh install of Windows on you PC? Did you install a driver wrong or not install one at all? Maybe something because corrupted?

If this is an HP computer the bios is going to be locked, I don't know much about that problem but I have heard of others flashing their own Bios'.

I was using default BIOS settings, but all is good now, I was using another drive but switched over to a newer one a friend sent me and installed 7, 64-Bit fresh, and all is good now. This one has 32 MB Cache :).

But the card works fine but when the boot screen comes up it just restarts. What drivers do I need? There are so many on the disc.

I've read online at multiple places that a 400 watt is suggested and will work perfectly when using the HD 6870, even under immense stress. You think this is a bad idea?

So everything is fine , until I run Crysis. I have no idea what it is but around half an hour or whatever into Crysis 2 I crash. My whole computer just shuts off, keep in mind that my processor never hits over 70 Celsius (which is it's max/stress), and my GPU (6870) never goes over 60-65...

Is the game legal or not? It sounds like a ripped game problem, my friends have experienced this before. If not I don't know what to tell yah, except for that sometimes GPU's have a tendency to run better maxed 100% than lower. Which is extremely strange.

Another fourteen year old here? Thought I was the only one, anyways Comcast is pretty good IMO if you lay beside the fact that they can legally monitor P2P downloads and others as mention above. Personally I wish I had Comcast, but instead I am forced to subside with my 200kb/s connection with DSL.
