yes it is, here in the philippines vidoe cards are overpriced....and products are limited so this is probably the best card i can pull out...in terms of speed the 7600gt runs at 560core clock/1400mem clock right? the gst runs at 500/1400 is the difference noticeable when you game?

i would recommend you go for 7600 gt instead,...that is if your willing to spend $30-$40 more...though its not a dx10 ready card, you'll gain much more performance than the 8500GT, if you prefer dx10 cards go for 8600
