I use Firefox, but it can't be that...only about 10% of the videos have no sound; the other 90% are OK.

About 10% of the YouTube videos I watch have no sound, mostly when I click on a link that takes me to a video. Happens on some music videos & most Major league baseball vids. HELP!!

I use my Dell computer solely for surfing the web,music,videos,etc & nothing else. I go on several times a day. Is it better to sleep it, or shut it down & start up every time I surf the net? I get conflicting answers from friends, but most lean towards sleeping it.
