    Disk Rotational Speed? Portable+Desktop?

Higher rotational speeds usually translate into lower latency, and higher data transfer rates. The downside is they use more energy, create more heat, and are sometimes louder. In practice you probably won't notice the difference.

    MineCraft

It should be up now, I had some troubles with my router earlier so that may of been the problem. Edit... It looks like I'm having pretty severe router problems, I'm not sure how but I suspect Minecraft is the culprit. (didn't think that was possible, but I wasn't having to cycle the power on...

    tv streaming" How many?

First off, what is the quality of the stream? Secondly, how fast is you're internet? For example, say you have a 100mb line and were streaming youtube....needles to say you could stream a whole lot of clips. But if you have a basic cable line (say 3mbs) you'd max it out...

    Gaming Headset

I second the headphone + clip on mic strategy. Just note that the headphones yoyojoe posted are "open" which don't do much to anything for blocking sound. Not a big deal most of the time, but if you're in a noisy environment closed headphones will suit you better.

    Desktop vs Laptops new

Just adding my $0.02.... In my personal experience desktops have been more reliable than laptops. In my first laptop the optical drive failed, and my hdd and battery got fried on my current one (still works though). On the desktop side I've had 1 burn up after 6 years (psu failed)...

Is this computer a good deal?

Sweet, thanks for the info, I think what I'll do now is just wait till the 5870 comes down in price a bit and build a computer then (seeing as I don't actually need one now). Thanks again -Joe

Is this computer a good deal?

1st thanks for all the replies. 2ndly I already know how to build a computer (and have built several already) so that's not a problem. The problem/weird thing is that if you build this computer now (parts from newegg) it comes to around $1300. Now I personally think (and apparently...
