I think it's a power supply issue. Was working on this again over the weekend, and got a red light on the motherboard, which research tells me is a low power warning. Then the system just wouldn't turn on. I would get a green led on the case, but no fans or any other power. It would work...

If I boot with the agp card installed, and plugged into the onboard video, I get the same results, that is, it seems to load up normally, and I hear the POST beep, but no video.

I hear the beep (just one), and it seems to be booting up normally, I just can't see anything. As for windows sounds, I don't get any, because It first goes to the user login screen, and no sounds play until I am able to click on my username.

I picked up a SATA drive from a friend, installed, and got to the windows password entry screen. I don't know the password, and want to wipe the drive anyway, so I rebooted with a startup disk, to the c prompt. Now it won't let me do anything with the drive. Can't format, or even get a...

ok, I took out the battery and reset. Now I am getting the message "Primary Master Drive ATAPI incompatible Press F4 to enter setup." I did that, and under Drive configuration, SATA0, and SATA1 are Disabled, IDE are set to Primary and Secondary. Tried again and get the same message.
