No, I`m comparing One single server with one OS on it AND One single server with multiple virtual Operating Systems performing a same task. These multiple virtual operating systems can be implemented using VMware for example.

IP address is not the only address a computer has in a network. Your Network interface card (NIC) has a unique address called the MAC address or the Physical address. You can find it by writing " ipconfig /all " in the CMD of windows. It is the unique address and exclusive to your laptop`s NIC.

There is nothing to cause the Enter key not to work, so i think the problem is definitely with the hardware of your Keyboard. Try removing the Enter button and replace it again, maybe the spring under its button is stuck.
