I am going to purchase an ibm server off ebay for $44 and I do not know what hard drive to use. On the ebay page it just says scsi so I looked in the users guide I found online and it says ultra320. Does this mean a 68 pin or 80 pin. I think its 80 but im not sure.

I have a Toshiba Satellite computer. I am unsure of the model but I know it was about 1000 US dollars. I think it is a A205 because on the bottom it states that as the model. It is running from 58 to 63 degrees celcius. Is this to hot? It has a Intel Core 2 Duo at 1.5 ghz. What should I do.

I just got a new cheap computer with a Dual Core pentium e5300. I was considering overclocking it (the current temp is around 34 Celcius), but then I had a problem. When booting one core would heat up to around 43 Celcius and then quickly drop to 33 celcius. Is this a problem?

yeah the new ram is here 2.99 GB are recognized but the 3gb ram kit is more expensive then 4gb so I got 4gb

Whenever you switch to a different hardware configuration you need to reinstall windows!!

If your reinstall windows 7 it should ask you where you want to install it. It will also show all partitions and there should be a mode to delete it. (press l or d?)

I'm not sure what the 6 pin CPU is for. But the 24 pin has 4 pins left over for a 12 volt connection exactly the same as a CPU connector.

did you reset the jumper for clearing the CMOS? Did you put the battery in the right way? Try that and dusting off everything.

Get a 500 or 400 watt power supply from zipzoomfly. If you know what to look for they have good prices and probably free shipping.

Take everything apart, dust it off, and put it back together. I have had some cpu freezing problems like that and it is pretty easy to fix.

I just reassembled it and I reapllied thermal paste. The problem was I was over clocking at 200mhz instead of 100mhz. After fixing that if worked fine. Thanks!

I just found the psu it is an Antec with 8 peripheral connecters,2 floppy connecters, 1 20 pin ATX, 1 4 pin processor connecter, and one i dont know.
