Due to a Uni grant I have £2000 to spend specifically on a laptop, I want to use every penny since I can't keep what I don't spend and I'm looking for advice as to how I could spend this money.
I used to use a mac book and whilst I hated the poor performance for such a high cost, I did enjoy it's trackpad which was larger than most laptop track pads and allowed multi fingered commands such as the OSX 'expose' which was very useful. A laptop (other than a mac laptop) which has this, would be very useful.
Also, whilst this laptop will be for uni stuff that won't take much power or anything or specialist software so the laptop really needn't be specialised for that, a gaming laptop would do just fine, since I would like to play some games as well..
Post your thoughts please
