Self-explanatory, I have £5000 and I am looking to buy the parts to, and then build the most ultimate desktop ever. The money should be used to purchase the best parts in all the different categories.

Basically, i was going to buy an alienware computer with all the bonus's. My friend told me i would be much better letting him build it through the various separate components. He has an idea about which parts to get, but I'm looking for a second/third/fourth opinion, as i want this to be the fastest most powerful desktop that i can build for this amount of money.

Go crazy, over clock everything shoving fans and cooling systems all over the show.

If you could name the part, price and why you choose it that would be awesome :] Thank you for all your help.

    (In this order)

    Motherboard
    Processor
    Hard drive
    Optical Drive
    Video Card
    Sound Card
    RAM
    PSU
    CPU
    Network Card
    Case

    + Additions

Hey Nevakonaza, screw the Tuniq tower. With that kind of budget, he could just get some water cooling for the cpu and gpu's. :D And instead of the Antec, just go with a Corsair 800D and he'll have plenty of room. :)

Wow, this is crazy. As much as I love computers, I wouldn't spend $7,000 (USD) on building one computer. I'd spend it on making 7 :D:good:

I would get a little less and save the rest for later upgrades. Also with 5000 euros why not wait for i9?
