I got this error message after XP told me there was an error with IE and needs to close.
"The instruction at 0x019238ae referenced at memory 0x01a3998c. The memory could not be 'read'."

I had two options.
Click OK to close the program
Click Cancel to debug.

I hit cancel, the program closed. Nothing really happened. XP asked if I'd like to send an error message. I did. Nothing really happened.
I googled 0x019238ae and 0x01a3998c, but no results were returned.

Any information?

if you have IE7 you can download it here.

Then you can go to add/remove programs, and in the Windows components theres an option to "uncheck" IE. that will take it out, then reboot and install the downloaded file.

However, if the problem is with something else in the OS that IE uses, then re-installing IE won't fix the problem, but it's a good first step...
