1 GPU vs. 2 GPU?

All of you guys answered one of his questions. To answer the second the 4870 will work with your PSU because it requires 500watts or greater and your PSU is 600watts. But to answer the first question the dual cards are definitely better.

Doesn't always work like that though. I had a 500W PSU running my 8800GT and this new 450W that I put in has way more power than my 500W did. Not all the watts are on the +12V rail. But in this case it would run it.

dont look at watts so much as amps.
