1 HDD vs 2 HDD ???

Hey Guys,

I'm thinkin g of gettin another internal 80gb HDD. Just a few questions...

Is there any performance gained by using it just for certain programs, like only games or whatnot?
Is it worth it?

1. I dont think there will be an big performance increase with another harddrive, unless you get like a raptor drive

2. If you are running low on space, its worth it

3. If your current hard drive is 80GB you could put them in RAID 0 depending on your configuration and that would be faster

If you have two identical hard drive and have them in RAID 0, then yes there will be a performance increase. Windows will load faster, games will load faster, and you will have faster transfers of large files. But it's not going to raise your FPS in games.
